venus transit: drink in the love
well the big VENUS TRANSIT came and went and left a trail of wonderful debris in its wake. debris like the surrender of the power hungry elites in our world. and debris the AC&C finally relenting to show its nightly kill lists, and debris like a certain person i know who has vehemently loathed dogs her whole life, to actually sit down and pet one.
these three miracles happened within a few days of the VENUS TRANSIT. if you look around in your own personal life i bet you’ll notice changes too! the fact is that the unconditional love we received from the VENUS TRANSIT was so huge that effects were seen immediately. EVERYTHING in our world will now change to the tune of love and never again return to fear.
speaking of love, who doesn’t love cherries? so wonderfully delicious, such pretty little things, they can only be ruled by the planet of love and the goddess of beauty: venus! all based on medieval herbal astrology, of course. listen up, libra and taurus, i’m talkin’ about you! you peace lovers, you : ) here’s some liquid lovin’ for every sign in the zodiac… cheers to the:
VENUS TRANSIT:
Fill glass with ice and add:
2 oz Black Cherry Zodiac Vodka
1 oz fresh lemon juice
*1 oz spice syrup
*Garnish with a brandied cherrySpice Syrup:
4 opened cardamom pods (both shells and seeds)
2 sticks cinnamon
2 whole cloves
***Toast spices to bring flavors out, then add to ½ cup water, ½ cup sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes and strain for use.Brandied Cherries:
*1 cup brown sugar
*1 cup water
*2 cloves
*2 sticks cinnamon
*4 opened cardamom pods (skin & seeds)
*1 quart pitted cherries (frozen are ok)
*½ brandy
(recipe from NYTimes 7/18/07)***Toast spices to bring flavors out, then add to water and sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes and remove from heat. Add brandy and cherries. May be used immediately. Store in fridge.
(The use of “Kangen” filtered water will further amplify the flavors.)
