I believe this causes my neighbors to scorn me, and so this year I had my brother vaccinate my yard with pesticides to fend off the dandelions, and it worked reasonably well. But next year, I will ignore the neighbors' glares and instead aim to grow the best dandelion crop possible -- the better to make a nice infused rum. Even with all the dandelions my yard can fit, I wonder whether I'll be able to get a whole cup of yellow bits. I'll report back on my efforts.
