Well, the infusion of the fennel will work wether or not the brandy is cheap. I found that the cheaper the alcohol, the longer you have to let it sit. But I have never infused brandy. The key it so taste it often and end the infusion when you like the flavor. I think making this cocktail with the brandy instead of the vodka will totally work. Well, the infusion of the fennel will work wether or not the brandy is cheap. I found that the cheaper the alcohol, the longer you have to let it sit. But I have never infused brandy. The key it so taste it often and end the infusion when you like the flavor.

I have a concoction I call “fart tonic,” made of fennel seed, dandelion root, and yellow dock root tinctures. The fennel is for the farts, and the others help any problems with digestion that may have caused them.
